Laura holds a Masters of Architecture from the University of Minnesota and a B.A in theatre and art from Carroll College. Laura brings three years of experience in the theatre and over eight years of experience in residential architecture. Laura's passion, sensibility and understanding of the people, materials, and place shaping the design process allow a project's inherent beauty to be experienced.

Ms. Grossfield's business background has been primarily with graphic designers and manufacturers. Through her various experiences with start-up companies and small businesses, she has learned from the ground up what it takes to launch a successful commercial enterprise. As controller, Deb brings a financially strategic aspect to our company team.

Originally from Northern Minnesota, Heidi graduated from St. Olaf College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in studio art. She attended Denmark's International Study Program in Copenhagen where she studied architecture and fell in love with Scandinavian design. Heidi's art background lends fresh perspective to the design process and operations of the firm.

Sam has his Masters of Architecture & Bachelor of Science in architecture from the University of Minnesota. A native of Minnesota, Sam has worked in various local design offices, bringing with him three years of experience in the field. Sam has a strong interest in design and visual arts and enjoys exploring the synergy between art, architecture and design.

Maria holds a Masters of Architecture & Bachelor of Arts in architecture with a minor in cultural studies from the University of Minnesota. Originally from Chile, she has a special interest in vernacular architecture and in the relationship between architecture and culture. Maria brings eight years of experience in residential architecture to Albertsson Hansen.

Ian holds a Masters in Architecture from the University of Minnesota where he continues to teach environmental building analysis in the graduate program. Ian also holds a B.A. in biology from Lawrence University. Working with an ecological design process, Ian connects clients to their surroundings through thoughtfully and beautifully designed spaces.

Corri has a Masters of Architecture & Masters of Science in architecture, sustainable design track from the University of Minnesota. Corri brings experience and knowledge of current sustainable design practices to the firm. After attending high school in Ireland and England, then college in Oregon, she moved to Minneapolis in 2001.

Mark Tambornino holds a Masters of Architecture from the University of Minnesota, where he has taught design in the graduate program since 2002. Mark started at Albertsson Hansen in 2003 and has over fifteen years of experience in residential architecture, office design, and large-scale non-profit cultural and institutional projects. He brings valuable design and project management experience to Albertsson Hansen clients.
