Portfolio | Mendota Bluff Home I
New Residence, Mendota Heights, Minnesota. The traditional farmhouse meets a modern aesthetic in this new home located on a wooded bluff above the Mississippi River. Originally built in the 1950's, the one-story ranch style house was taken down to the foundation, and rebuilt using existing materials and forms that recall the familiar rural buildings of the Midwest. Inside spacious light-filled interiors convey a rigorous modern approach to detail and proportion.
